Well, what weather we've had last weekend, absolutely amazing. We certainly were busy. It was great to see Dawlish so busy, although lots of sunburnt people wandering around - don't forget the sun cream!!

Not sure what the weather will decide to do this weekend though, bit of a mixed bag it seem, still I'm sure people will be out and about for the bank holiday and half term in Dawlish what ever the weather. It was the Devon County Show last week and it nearly always rains for those few days, so it was a nice surprise to everyone that it was hot and sunny!

We are open every day this weekend including Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday, from 10:30am as usual.

There is a train event being held over the half term week to celebrate the 175th anniversary of the Parliamentary plans by the Bristol and Exeter Railway for extending the railway to Plymouth.

To mark the event there will be exhibitions of fine railway painting, a photographic competition, illustrated talks and other railway related activities, taking place at three main venues in the town.

Looking forward to a busy weekend!
